A/C in Paris June 7-11?

Fellow travellers, how important have you found a/c to be when in Paris in June? I'm trying to select a hotel and don't want to restrict myself to those with a/c if it's not necessary at that time of year. Many thanks for your opinions.

cartecay,
it is very hard to predict the weather in Paris..Sometimes is warm for weeks at times, then is cold, rainy etc..,

Temperature should not be the only issue in your decision. Most rooms are stuffy if there is no air and no window open. An open window sounds great, but the noise level in many areas makes having A/C a major plus to me no matter the outside temperature during what is usually a nice time of the year.

The temperature doesn't have to be too high for Paris to feel warm and humid. It's always nice to have a cool place to come back too--and to sleep in.

I agree that for me AC is a necessity in Paris anytime from May to October. You will really need to search for a place where you can sleep with a window open unless you are a very sound sleeper, not disturbed by night-time and early morning garbage trucks, deliveries, etc., not to mention people passing by or talking in open courts.

You really might need AC in June. We were there 2 years ago and the weather was terribly hot (like mid-90's) for a few days. Of course, a few days later it cooled off.

We're from Houston and used to hot humid weather, but we would have been miserable had it not been for the AC in our hotel.
