A big vote of thanks to Fodor's for these forums
 

I've been contributing to, and getting great input from this site for a couple of years now and just wanted to say thanks to Fodors and to all of you who contribute your experiences so others can be just a little more informed!

We also appreciate the site; it's one of our favorites. The travel suggestions and information have been invaluable for planning an upcoming trip.

if you could activate the archives, it would make
searching easier.

Yes, I agree with previous messages. I thank Fodors and all who have contributed to making our upcoming trip to Italy and Turkey easier to plan and have made it more exciting for us. Thank you all. Denise

I totally concur. This forum has become the best
on the web for Europe travel. However, it is so
popular now that Fodors needs to divide it by
areas---why not seperate the UK, northern Europe,
southern Europe etc. Just a thought.

I also think this is a great site. It has been invaluable to me, planning our trip to Italy this April. Thanks to all who have helped, and Fodor's I thank you as well. Katalin

Another "thank-you" to Fodor's... A terrific source for sharing info about our travels. Just returned from London and the B&B success and many travel tips came from this board... Many genuinely helpful and appreciate people are posting here! Agree with the suggestions to activate Archives with internal search -- also to split the Europe board into smaller categories. THANKS again!

Add my thanks, too, please. This site allowed me to get far more out of a recent trip to Egypt by getting in direct contact with people who had done the same itinerary a year earlier. It's also a pleasure to share advice on places you've been with people who are trying to research their trip rather than going blind. P.S. to Fodors: I also have a shelf full of your books, so your web site is not some "pro bono publico" effort.

I am glad that Fodor's gives us this forum and makes an honest effort to keep it up. A number of unmentioned boards went comotose because of inattention. The people asking questions and the kind ones answering keep the board alive, but thank you to Fodor's for giving it birth.
