Hi

Has anyone ever heard of Fiesoli? It is outside of Florence... is it worth it? how long a trip? can you take a bus?

You might want to repost this with "Fiesoli" as the subject heading. You'll probably get more answers that way.

type the name in the little search this forum box and you will see it is fairly popular with the Fodorites. I like the museum and the Roman road up there.

It's spelled "Fiesole" and like Seaurchin said, if you do a search you'll find lots of detailed information including how to get there.

The city tour bus that we took went out to Fiesole. It is just a nice ride, not far at all, with a couple of stops to look down over Florence. I don't recall what the buses are called but they are the get on, get off ones all over the city. Just check to be sure the one you ride goes to Fiesole.

Several years ago we stayed in Fiesole and just took the bus down the hill to town. It is a nice place to stay to see Florence. The views from there over Florence are to die for. If you have researched Florence at all, you have seen a picture over Florence that, most likely was taken in Fiesole. CJ

LittleWink has received the suggestion on every thread he/she starts to type a title that is clear regarding his/her question.

It isn't going to happen, lol. Click on LittleWink's name for his/her other threads and you will see what I mean.

Didn't we just all answer this on the other thread?

janisj Apr 12th, 2008 12:34 PM

been asked and answered. This one finally DOES clear things up -- LittleWink is play ing us. She has posted many threads w/ bad titles - but at least they did include a word or two.

She has got to be tied for first prize in the lazy poster competition.

(BTW - she won't come back to this thread any more than she has any of the others. So no reason to give her advice suggestions - she doesn't read them. She just keeps starting new threads)

Little Wink is a pest. I think the naive nature of the question reflects a high level of immaturity.

Perhaps s/he is a lonesome person who needs attention.

If that is the case, I think responses to questions with sensible titles and meaningful content would produce the usual excellent answers that one can obtain on this forum.

Schuler, I couldn't agree more :-)
żż How do you type żżżżż by the way ;-)

Providing info when the title is ridiculous is encouraging more such titles. ¿((*))
