90 days in Schengen Zone then Norway w/ Working Visa but no Exit Stamp
 

I am an Australian Citizen and have recently travelled in Europe. I am writing to enquire about a possible "technical" overstay in the Schengen Zone due to lack of documentation. My history is as follows:

3/6/2013
I entered the Schengen Zone and travelled within the Schengen Zone. As an Australian Citizen, I enjoy 90 days Visa Free Schengen Zone privileges.

30/8/2013
Entered Norway, where I currently am and have a 1 Year Working Holiday Visa for.

1/9/2013
Date when my 90 Day Visa Free period for the Schengen Zone ended.

As I have technically not "left" the Schengen Zone and do not have an exit stamp in my passport, how can I prove, next time I enter the Schengen Zone, that I did not overstay during the above trip? The only proof I have is an E-Ticket with my name and the date on it. I am worried that I will be accused of overstaying in the Schengen Zone.

I am currently awaiting a Residence Card which will also not say I entered Norway on the 30/8/2013.

Any help is much appreciated.

When did you get your working visa and what's the date on it? Or rather the date on the stamp. That's the date that matters.

I wouldn't sweat it though. If anyone asks tell them that you didn't get an exit stamp. It happens.

No stamp per se for my Visa, I what I have is a letter granting my Working Holiday Visa from several months ago, I instead will get a "Residence Card":

"Approved applicants are provided with an official Embassy letter which must be taken to the police in Norway within 7 days of arrival in the country. At the police station, you will have your fingerprints and photo taken in order to be issued a residence card."

Well, just do it. Do you want to rewrite that first part about the Residence Visa so it is understandable?

Of course you didn't get a Schengen Zone exit stamp. You did not leave the Schengen Zone.

Hijohnhhyh and all, I have the same problem. I called the police station and asked, she said it is fine as long as you dont leave Norway before you get your residence card. Have you got your residence card yet?

I have another problem that you dint have, I enter Norway at 22/8/2013, with the 90-days rule, my last day in Norway is 19/11/2013. However, I have booked tickets to travel in barcelona, italy and paris for a total of 15 days (24/11 to 5/12), which means including these 15 days, I can only stay in Norway until 7/11/2013 and finish the 90 days stay in schengen zone.

My appointment to register at the police station is at 6/11/2013, if you have got your residence card, may I know does the start date written on your residence card is the same as the date that you attended your appointment at the police station?This concern me because if the start date of my residence card is the 6/11, I actually do not need to leave schengen zone before 7/11. If the start date is later than 6/11, I should be consider as overstay in schengen zone and will I have a problem to enter schengen zone countries again for my trips(24/11-5/12)??

I asked this question to the lady work at the police station, she said: I dont understand what you are talking about and I cant answer your questions more because they are too many ppl on the line. Thus, I appreciate if any can help!
