9 days in Sardinia next June - help with itinerary for travel with kids

Jump to last reply

We have 2 kids ages 5 & 9 and will have 10 nights flying into Cagliari from San Francisco mid June.

We will have a rental car and first want a few days of at a very kid friendly beach to relax and get over our jet lag.

Wondering if staying in the Chia/Pula area (vs. Villasimius) would be better.

then where do we go? Up the West coast or the East Coast?

Not sure we'd be into the ritzy North East area but rather somewhere more authentic yet entertaining for the kids (Cala Gonone?) Some small easy hikes would work but nothing too steep or long.

Also wondering where the least windy areas would be at that time since we're not into wind surfing.

Would also like to scuba dive one day with the wife so would the islands north or south be better?

the final area where we would stay needs to be somewhat close to Olbia where we fly out of and we really don't want to stay in more than 3 different places during our 10 nights.

Any help appreciated.
