Everyones information is very informative. From all of the post we have decided to do 2 cities with a couple of day trips out of Paris. We are first timers to Paris/France. So we do have to do the typical tourist things/traps.

I sometimes take the Clark Griswald approach to many tourist traps.

We are definitely doning the Giverny bike tour. The Versailles bike tour was a great suggestion. We have ruled out the Normandy side bar. Just not enough time.

Our trip is going to be Paris and the south of France. Us three have different interests. I think we can all find something to do in Paris and the Riveria.

So on that note I will be starting a new post for the Riveria

You can take the TGV to Nice and pick up your car there. Or you could even fly...I think there are flight options from Paris-Orly to Nice.
