8 hour layover in Amsterdam-seek advice from who knows city very well

I have a layover from 12-8:50pm in Amsterdam. Would like very much to make good use of my time and visit the at least 2-3 places if possible. My places of interest are:
1.Anne Frank House, 267 Prinsengract
2.Esnoga- Portuguese Synagogue, Mr. Visserplein 3, 1011 Rd.
3.Amsterdam Tulip Museum (across from Anne Frank House) or Van Gogh museum currently Hermitage Amsterdam (preferred over Tulip Museum), Amstel 51 1018 EJ
My flight leaves for Israel @ 8:50pm and my bag is being checked through.
How many places can I realistically visit, how far are they from the Schipol Airport and from Each other?
Also, what would be the easiest and cheapest form of transportation? Bus, metro or tram?
Would I be able to do any of this taking a canal ride and how much are they?
I am assuming that I would need to head back to the Airport at around 5:30pm?
Seeking advice from one that knows the city very well!
Thanks
