8 days

I am spending 8 days in switzerland in the summer, with my wife and 2 kids. I would like you to tell me what not to miss. I plan to sky near Zermatt, it seems that itīs open even in the sumnmer. I also thought about taking the glacier express from ST. Moritz through the alps, but I will rent a car, so is it worth to pay for an expensive ticket just to see the views?

I am always a little skittish about answering whether something is worth it or not, but here's my take. I would pass on the Glacier Express and spend the time in Zermatt and driving around nearby. We took the Glacier Express a few years ago and while it is indeed lovely scenery if your time is limited that's not the best use of two days. You may generate more comments by posting this query with a more specific title including Zermatt or the Glacier Express in the heading.

WOW! Sorry about that sharp retort karnak. It is true that making the title clear will help you get better responses to your question but the fact that you didn't doesn't justify a poster to scream and swear about it IMHO. Have a beautiful time in Switzerland.

Does the ID have to be stapled to the paper ticket?
