I think the OP is confused.

Ventimiglia is the border station for the rain line between Nice and Italy. Pisa is very close to Florence, not to Ventimiglia. The trip from Nice to Pisa or Florence will take a good part of the day --7-8 hours with 2-3 train changes. I suggest this be changed to

Train Nice to Ventimiglia - Train Ventimiglia to Florence (4 nights with day trip to Pisa)
