7 days travel card VS oyster card

I will be in London from 10/31-11/6.
The tube will be my primary transportation to all the attractions.
Should I get the 7 days travel card or oyster card?

We just got weekly bus passes, enjoyed seeing things en route, and used the heck out of it. (sorry; I know that doesn't answer your question)

Your 7 day travel card will be put on an Oyster card. They have phased out the paper travelcard

You can still get a paper card at main train stations - but why bother

You still get paper cards if you order them and have them sent to you in advance.

This past trip we (for the final time) had paper Travelcards. One of them stopped working properly after two days necessitating the user being manually admitted and exited at every station by one of the attendants.

As to the busses...great idea IMO as long as you don't get caught in congestion traffic.

Tube stations and all outlets controlled by Transport for London only sell Oyster Travelcards. All railway stations sell paper Travelcards. A one-week pass costs the same and both versions allow travel on trains, tubes, buses and trams, as well as giving a one-third discount on most Thames boat services.
