london Bloomsbury accomodation

Finally narrowed down my choices - Bloomsbury Russell Hotel or Holiday Inn Bloomsbury - any advise?

Well, The Russell is old and famous - The Holiday Inn modern and clinical but both perfect for a comfortable stay. Wish I could afford either! Sorry can't help your decision but I must admit I would rather like to experience The Russell!

I stayed at Holiday Inn Bloomsbury and was perfectly happy with it. With the Russell, I recall that in the past there were old, unrenovated rooms and some refreshed rooms. I don't know if all of them have been fixed up, but do you know what type you would be getting?

The locations are almost identical - and rather good. Haven't stayed in either but have walked past both more than once (the Russell too many times to count). I'd take whichever got you the best rate - especially IF the Russell guarantees a refurbished room.

Bloomsbury is one of London’s oldest and exclusive area, location of the British Museum, the British Library and many more attractions.
