This is easy (where are you coming from?)
You want romance and you want Italy - 2-3 nights Venice, 3 nights Florence.
For Rome you need at least 4 full days so I would just give it a miss this first trip. Maybe add Sienna for a day.
Good luck. We were walking Florence when we decided to have a baby - it's the kind of town that does that to you! (Maybe you'll want to wait then!!!)

3 days in Rome, the rest in Tuscany (florence Siena) or Amalfi (avoid Capri) depends on interests of course

Rome, Venice, Florence and Tuscany are main destination...depends of what you like..

HI N,

When are you going?

roman Jun 12th, 2007 08:39 AM

Need to know where you are landing. If landing in Rome.... then Rome 4 days and Venice 2 days. If landing in Milan, then Milan 1 days, Venice 3 days, Florence 3 days. You don't want to spend too much of your time travelling. Rome is a bit of a hike from the other 3 cities.

Hi N,

Good idea.

Fly into Venice and out of Florence FLR or Pisa PSA.

Enjoy your visit.
