7-Day Travel Pass

Does the 7-day travel pass (all zones) cover railroad transportation to Warwick and Windsor Riverside? On the websites, it mentions dockland light rail systems, but I am not sure if these two destinations qualify.

No, you will have to buy separate rail tickets for these destinations. The map at
http://www.thetube.com/content/tubemap/images/lon_con.jpg
shows all of the underground, tram and railway stations to which you can travel with a travelcard, with the zones denoted in different colours.

Ok, thank you Ben. One more quick question - if you wait and buy your train ticket after you board, it is more expensive than buying before you board?

Betty, except for the Heathrow Express and Gatwick Express, you should ALWAYS buy the ticket before boarding. Policies of the various train companies vary, but waiting until you get on board could result in a fine and the need to buy a full-fare ticket.

You should definately not wait until you board the train to buy a ticket, but on these relatively short routes it is generally just as cheap to buy tickets just before you board than in advance.
