The Chemin de Fer de Provence/Train des Peignes leaves from near the Liberation tram stop -- that is the local's market and there is a large new food hall that just opened up. There is also the Train de Merveilles that leaves from the main train station -- that is the tourist version (with commentary) that goes to Saorge and Tende -- the Italian hill towns
I have a place in Nice, if you have any very specific questions about any of the above or additional restaurants. At seven days, look at a furnished apartments as an alternative -- there are several large local agencies that specialize in a wider range of services.
