6 days in Denmark - is this doable?

Righty-ho. My father and I have now decided that we will forgo Norway and give Denmark a full six days ( not including arrival day ). We are still planning to use Copenhagen as a base, doing a few day trips in June 2012 following a week-long conference that will have taken us from Helsinki, to Tallin, ending in Stockholm.

Sample itinerary at this point for Denmark, days 1-7.

Monday - Arrive in Copenhagen via train from Stockholm.
Tuesday - Sunday = flexible.

Things currently under consideration are:

2 days in Copenhagen itself, with possible half-day at Frederiksborg Palace.
1 Day in Roskilde - Viking Museum, Longboat sailing, Cathedral
1 Day in Lejre - Living History Open Air Museum
1 Day in Trelleborg - Viking Ringfort, Longhouse, Museum
1 Day trip out to Bornholm

My questions are:

Is Bornholm worth a day trip ( Round Churches, cute little towns etc. )?
Is there anywhere else in Denmark, say in Jutland, that would be worth a couple of nights?
Do any of these ideas require hard-to-manage public transport maneuvers?

Nothing is set in concrete, but the airfares need to be booked soon.

Would also love to work in a visit to the Tadre Mill, would this be easier to do on the Roskilde Day or the Lejre Day? Also, does anyone know how you actually get to the mill? Bus? Walk?

If it had to be a choice between Round Churches on Bornholm or Windmills in Kerteminde, what would you choose? I really like the look of both places...

So, is Bornholm a good idea? Is Kerteminde worth visiting at all? Questions that need answering...

I was born and lived my first 20 years on Bornholm and I would say Bornholm is a good idea.

The island is so geographical unique from rest of Denmark. I can recommend a trip to big castle ruins at the north tip of Bornholm. When your done with that there is way along the north coast of the island with a nature you wont find other places in Denmark. The island is one big rock :-) and along the north coast there are many caves that goes under the island where there bats and spiders you wont see either nowhere else in Denmark. Also on north Bornholm you'll find Denmarks higest waterfall - now dont get to excited hehe - it's only around 20 meters but nevertheless the higest (and one of the few) you find in Denmark :-)

Last as you mentioned your self there is the four round churches and many cute little towns (more villages).

I think you'll find a day on Bornholm interesting and if you go a visit to Hammershus the old castle at the north tip is a must.

Thank you so much Holmeren! I'm so pleased that you have joined this forum! Did you see my other post "Bornholm: Anything and Everything there is to know", I really appreciate any help that you can offer as pretty much no one else on this board knows anything about Bornholm:)!
