5D 4N Rome
Ist time traveller, 4person, we booked an apartment at near Roman Forum. Any recomendation on places must see for our short stay.
|
I don't know what your interests are, but I can tell you what I would do (in fact it is what I did in a similar time frame last year).
I would go to the forum, colosseum area one day and perhaps take a guided walking tour there. I would go to the Vatican another day, seeing the Vatican Museum and St. Peter's, also perhaps taking a walking tour there. I would go to the Borghese museum one day and explore the Villa Borghese park, Via Veneto, Spanish steps areas. Then I would fill in the rest of the time wandering about the central city exploring the neighborhoods, monuments, churches, and Roman ruins, not forgetting to eat in restaurants in different neighborhoods each night. There is so much to see that I am going back in February for a week. |
Hi,
Have you looked at the miniguide to Rome at fodors.com? |
I second the Villa Borghese suggestion - but be sure to book in advance.

Every day I see this posting and I have to ask..maybe we are having a mental block here but what in the world does "5D 4 N " mean??
|
I assumed it meant five days, four nights.
|
Of course!!!
LOL, thank you, Nikki ~ |
LOL, Scarlett! I once looked at a post in which someone wanted to know how relaxing AC was in March. I thought AC was air conditioning but they were talking about "Amalfi Coast."
