5 nights in ireland ..please help !!

Hi, Travelling with another couple at end of July and only have 5 nights starting with flight into Dublin from Doncaster. So far we had decided to ;
Drive to Sligo same day [genealogy reasons] Overnight there.
day2. Drive to Galway .. spend night at Kinvara
day3. Drive to Limerick... spend night at Nenagh
day4. Drive to Dublin.......spend night at city hotel
day5. Spend time in Dublin ..spend night at airport hotel
day6. early flight home
Thinking now this is too much travelling and I have no idea what I should be planning to see between these points. We are in our 60's/70's so nothing too dramatic !!
Would we be better to try 2 nights at Kinvara then onto Dublin over the next day, sightseeing along the way? [suggestions?] Booked Kinvara as Galway too expensive and pretty full anyway for our dates.
I would really appreciate your help and opinions on this trip. Never been to Ireland. Living in New Zealand now. .......Many thanks !!

Leave out Limerick for starters. After a day at Sligo I would explore that area and spend the night at Westport or Clifden not Kinvara.

Head back towards Dublin visiting Clonmacnoise, drop the car off and head into the city. If your flight isn't super early I would just stay there for both nights. You could look at a hotel in Malihide for the night, pretty little village and many hotels have an airport shuttle.

Thanks for your advice. Westport does look lovely. Where would you suggest we stay for a night on way back to Dublin from Westport?

You don't really have to spend the night anywhere just explore Westport and maybe take a day trip to Achill or Clare Island. You could visit Galway also. http://www.clareislandferry.com/times-fares/
