I'd second/third the votes for: Promenade Plantee (beautiful walk back into the city, and a few interesting shops at the end built into the arches), Musee Nissim da Camondo - combine with a walk in the Parc Monceau, the Bastille market. I'd add Memorial de Shoah (Holocaust museum - new in ~2005 and very well done), wine tasting @ O Chateau (light, fun experience), the Musee des Arts et Metiers (a funny little museum, highlighting French scientific inventions throughout history).

dunia123--I agree about O Chateau. I forgot about that:) We did that a few years ago and enjoyed it.

The Opera House does tours in English, wonderful place!
