5 days
Have 5 days, after business in Brussels, before business in Paris.
Each year we choose a different city. Brugge ,Lille, Reimes, Amsterdam, are the past four years. Would love a suggestion for this September. Would like to be within four to five hours train ride to Paris. Love good food, beautiful architecture, nice walking areas. Had considered Avignon last year. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Bev |
Hi E,
With a car? ((I)) |
It's a bit of pompous of me... and very out of fashion these days to scold you...
...but you've been here two years, and could/should know better. Please don't do this. Any question worth answering is worth sharingt with the rest of the "community" through a message header that indicates what you're asking about. So, scolding over. Now I'll ask politely: Please re-post. Best wishes, Rex |

I am not sure what you are asking me to do. If I have posted incorrectly, it wasn't intentional. I couldn't be more specific, as I don't really know where I want to go. Could you suggest a proper header, and I will comply. To Ira, no unfortunately we no longer drive in Europe, so the train will be our transportation. |
"5 days between business mtgs in Brussels and Paris - where to go?"

Have you been to the Rhine and Mosel areas? If not, they may be work considering. Another area you might consider is the Alsace to drive the champaigne route.

Consider the beautiful, interesting, and historic town of Aachen, just above the French border with Germany. The town was the headquarters of Charlemagne, has a fine spa, and is known for its fanciful gingerbread figures. It's a great town for walking.
