4/26-27 Holiday weekend - which day for Capri/Pompeii?
I know this is the start of a holiday week for Italians and I'd like to know which day would be better for visiting Pompeii and Capri. Right now I'm leaning towards going to Pompeii on Sunday, the 26th and visiting Capri on Monday.

Sunday is April 25. If you can, do your day trips on April 26 and 27. If you have to do one on April 25, I'd go to Capri. The number of people on Capri is limited by the number of people who can get on the ferries. But buy your ferry ticket in advance.

The number of people on Capri is limited to the number of people who can get there by boat -- and ferries are not the only option Italians have for getting to the island. If the weather is nice, I wouldn't be surprised if Capri turns into a zoo.
Pompeii can hold tens of thousands of people -- no problem. I'd go there on the 25th.
