4 nights in Amsterdamn in late November

Can anyone suggest an itiniery for 4 nights in Amsterdam in late November? We were thinking of taking day trips to the countryside and also outside of Holland as well. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

The Cannabis Cup, sponsored by HighTimes Magazine, is staged for four nights usually on Thanksgiving Day (U.S.) weekend. Like wine sampling, the public can pay a flat fee and be able to taste a stupefying number of the finest products of Holland's legendary "coffeeshops". Note if looking for a coffeeshop where coffee is the prime attraction, look for a "kofieshop", while a "coffeeshop" features a mind-boggling variety of hash and pot, all sold quite legally from posted menus.

I was told that I can get the cannabis cup tickets in advance...where can I look for this info? Thanks!

That's one of the more interesting header typos I've seen here.

Don't know this year's dates but go to Borders or Barnes and Noble and look in High Times Magazine - they sponsor it and ballyhoo it for months in advance. Sure a search: Cannabis Cup would work or High Times Magazine. But has been on weekend of Thanksgiving as this is when Yanks can get four days off work - most of "judges" are Americans. I've never been to it but read lots about it.

I am not interested in Coffeeshops, but have noticed the large number of Americans in Amsterdam when it is being held; I think it is mainly for the benefit of US tourists.
