4 Days in Barcelona

with my 19, 23 and 24 year old kids. Any recommendations for what we MUST see, tours (maybe a hop-on/hop-off thing?), restaurants?

Okay, this is a rather vague request knowing nothing at all about your interest, or what of your "kids" are interested in seeing and doing. A little more information would be helpful (as well as pertinent, if not essential), and the time of year would be helpful in pointing you in the right direction.

Robert2533 - other than that, want to add that the city is over 2,000 years old? Agree. Too many variables for such a grand city to give recommendations to.

If any of your kids are boys, they will spend their time checking out Las Chicas. Anything else will distract them from their distraction.

Hey K,

It would help if you told us when you will be going.

Agree with the above comments but and do suggest you get a guidebook. In it you will find (among many other things!)

Gaudi / Modernismo architecture - highlights Sagrada Familia, Parc Guell and some of the private homes

Wonderful port / beach area for all kinds of fun. We rented bikes and biked along the boardwalk and into the park. I think there is also a Fat Tire bike tour - these are led by young adults and have a nice combination of facts and fun.

You might want to do a daytrip to Figueres and the Dali museum - pretty entertaing art

Las Ramblas with the street perfomers should be entertaining - watch your wallet.

There is food food everywhere from markets / takeouts, tapas cafes for outdoor dining and also fine food. If you want specific rec's for those give your location and pricepoint.
