4 countries in one day.

I think we should give some slack when people want to visit 6.8 countries in 10 days.

Your humble poster (me) slept in france is now in Germany will have dinner in Belgium and In order to do so will drive through Netherlands - with a bit of luck I can visit toilets there.

Perfectly doable.

Of course I do it because of work I am not such a fool as to do it for fun.

Vivement ce soir qu'on se couche ....

Glad the Netherlands is good for something .

We sometimes do Netherlands/Belgium/Luxembourg/France though we usually spend the night in Belgium if we're doing that. Short drive down to Blegny, then continue in the morning.
It is for fun, to get us into France somewhere further south than just going through Belgium.

What I had anticipated was that the meeting would be in German. Headache expected tonight.

Once a year I land in Belgium, drive south and lunch in France, before buying wine in Luxembourg (on the Moselle) and overnighting (love the word) on the Saar in Germany.

Not a bad way to travel

I myself have been in Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium and Luxembourg all in the same day but just because the concept amuses me. I would never claim on such a day that I had actually "seen" any of the countries.

However, being from northeastern France, I very often combine France, Luxembourg and Belgium in the same day, sometimes just to shop for different things in the hypermarkets. (Auchan in Luxembourg, E. Leclerc in Longwy and Cora in Messancy)

We did Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein one day just to say we did. It was actually a beautiful drive.

Hmmm, well, I biked in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in one day. Meant to bike into Liechtenstein, but missed the turnoff.
