The Regina is a bit expensive.
The Relais Christine, the Pavillion de la Reine the Montalembert, the Lavoisier have high rates for small rooms.
And a room for 3 at Costes cost 1200euros!!!!!!!!
As for the Prince de Galles a superior room(with a very small bathrooms) costs 530euros.
The mayfair is a very small unrenovated hotel with also small rooms(junior suite=25m2), so i don't want to stay there.

So with no personal knowledge of the hotels on your list, but reading your comments and some reviews, I'd choose the Hilton Tour Eiffel. It's got the largest room size on the list except the Pres. suite at the Millenium (which is only a 3 star hotel) and it's in a different area than the Scribe. Reviews on tripadvisor are not only good, but it sounds like the location will be very convenient.

I would have thought the Hyatt Vendome would be great but the reviews of poor service were astounding.

I disagree btw on your comment about the Intercontinental not offering anything more than the Scribe but think a diff. location is better anyway, despite your comment that location doesn't matter. I am curious why you reject most of the left bank. The Victoria Palace in the 6th gets excellent reviews on tripadvisor, the rooms sound quite large (their smallest rooms are 35m2) and they have a two bedroom suite that sounds as though it might be within your budget.

1.the Millennium Opera is a 4star hotel
2.the only difference between the Hotel Scribe and the Intercontinental Le Grand is the fitness center and the size of the hotels. The Hotel Scribe has 211rooms and the Grand Hotel IC 500. When I was staying at Scribe i've visited The Grande Hotel IC and the only difference that i noticed was the size of the lobby and the decoration(Hotel Scribe has a much more elegant lobby than the Grand Hotel IC). The rooms sizes are the same(but prices aren't)
3.I do not like the Left Bank for these reasons
a.Small Old Hotels(except the Meridien Montparnasse and the Lutetia)
b.small rooms
c.no gastronomic restaurants
d.Latin quarter(many people, bad restaurants)
e.far from the city center(Montparnasse)
4.The Victoria Palace is located near Montparnasse Station(10-15min walk)near a street with shops and some cafes
The nearest station is the Montparnasse Bienvnue because the Rennes Station is closed after 20h, on sundays etc. If you get on the metro from the two nearest stations(St.Placide and Notre Dame Des Champs) you have to change at least once if you want to go to Trocadero, to the Opera, to the Champs-Elysees , the Louvre and the grands Magasins.

Wow, Gkap, what more are you hoping to find out here? Seems like you already know more about all the hotels of Paris than anybody!

But I do like the idea that the Left Bank is out as there are no gastronomic restaurants and it is far from the city center, but you're open to staying at Defence? Huh??

A dear friend spent Christmas at the Park Hyatt Vendome and really liked her room/suite. I will see if she wants to post here and give you some more details.
For my taste, if I were spending as much as you feel you need to, I would stay at the Crillon.

I 've never stayed at a hotel near La Defense but i've beean there. There are 4 gastronomic restaurants(Avant-Seine,Les Deux-arcs and 2 others that i do not remember). The hotels are modern and with big rooms(a junior suite at the Sofitel La Defense Grande Arche is 40m2 and it costs 320euros).
It's only 5-10min by ReR from the Champs-Elysees and is connected with many hot spots in paris by metro(line 1). There is also the biggest dept store in Europe there(The Quatre Temps)

Well, it is pointless to argue with you. As you know, unlike being able to just take an RER from Defence in 10 minutes, it would probably take hours to travel to the center from the Left Bank! And, of course, you are right about NO gastronomic restaurants in the Left Bank!! Not!

Gkap, you are armed with more statistics and requirements than anyone on this forum. It appears that you are looking for modern, new, large rooms, not to exceed €500. This may not leave anything with much character in Paris and probably restricts you to the American style business hotels such as Hyatt/Hilton. sorry we could not be of more help.

We should alert Michelin to the fact that there are no gastronomic restaurants on the left bank, as they still foolishly list Arpege, Tour d'Argent, Jules Verne, Le Divellec,Louis Treize, Violon d'Ingres, etc.,etc..

<<3.I do not like the Left Bank for these reasons
a.Small Old Hotels(except the Meridien Montparnasse and the Lutetia)>>

Not accurate. Montalembert, Daubusson, just to name a few, are not older, and have very spacious and comfortbale rooms.Lutetia is older than both

b.<<small rooms>>

Not true, many quality hotel on the Lft Bank have spacious room. You just need to know whihc hotels and what to ask for

<<c.no gastronomic restaurants>>

You really are kidding....yes??

<<e.far from the city center>>

Depends on your definition of city center. Most of the 5th and 6th in the Left Bank is ideal location. Much better location than Montparnesse.

I don't like the Left Bank that's all. The hotels there are expensive for a spacious room(e.g Montalembert-22m2-390euros,Lutetia-25m2-300euros,Relais Christine-30m2-550euros,Bel Ami-30m2-380euros,L'hotel-32m2-650euros). That is my opinion. Others may have different opinions. It is normal. Some people like this area , some others no.It is not a problem!!!

Gkap, I like staying on the Right Bank, too, particularly in the 16th. I think you will find many good choices of hotels there, including the two Sofitels I mentioned (Le Parc and Trocadeor Dokhan's). Of those two, Le Parc is more relaxing and Dokhan's is more chic. We are staying at Le Parc later this month and in October, I'll be in Paris for a combined business/leisure trip and staying at Dokhan's. The Sofitel Baltimore, also in the 16th, has a more modern decor.
Re La Defense, I looked at the Sofitel there last year. It's ok, but I'm glad we opted to stay closer in instead. I think the Sofitels in the 16th are nicer, more elegant, the La Defense Sofitel is on the bland side.

Gkap - Why did you ask the question if you don't want to benefit from the experience of fellow travelers? It appears that you already know more about the hotels you would like than the persons you are asking. Is this post meant to show everyone else your vast knowledge of Paris hotels? If so perhaps you could have used that knowledge to help another traveler rather than shooting down others' ideas in such a disdainful manner. Have a great trip. Jackie

By far the best choice, in my view, of those listed is the Vernet. It is like staying in a private home. Very deluxe, amazing service

For that much moolah, I'd hate the idea of actually leaving the hotel to do any sightseeing. I'd probably just order room service or dine at the hotel restaurant, maybe watch videos of Paris on the hotel room TV.
