36 hours in barcelona
 

my husband and i will be in Barcelona for a day and a half in the end of july
looking for recommendations for what to see and places to stay ( budget ideally $100-$150)

Since I know nothing about you my best recommendations would be to get a Barcelona guidebook. Check also maribelsguides.com. Hope that helps.

It depends what you are interested in. http://www.tripadvisor.ca/Guide-g187...Catalonia.html provides a pretty good guide of attractions. Add in the beach and Olympic park if they interest you and you have the time.
