Guys,

Still working on this. Life got really busy. I just got "promoted" to Department Chair and am teaching 3 classes this summer, dealing with bureacratic nonsense, etc.

janisj: Yes, my great-grandfather was one of those Cornish miners. He worked the Empire Mine just outside of Grass Valley.

Flanner: After having some good Indian later in the trip, I believe you are correct.

thursday: Oh, the Pembrokeshire Coast is on the list. Our next trip to the UK will probably be a loop through Wales and into Shropshire.

Unfortunately, the list only ever grows longer and longer and it will likely be at least a couple of years until we are back in the UK. Japan is beckoning for next Spring and I have ignored it for far too long.

I live about an hour from the Empire Mine - been there several times.
