Bavaria!<BR><BR>Okay..I'm gonna kill the spelling of these cities..<BR>Berchtesgarten - Hitlers summer home.<BR>Rotenburg Ob Der Tauber - walled medieval city - must visit Kathie Wilfahrt's Christmas Store...open year round..amazing collection of Christmas decorations, cuckoo clocks etc to purchase.<BR>Oberammergau and surrounding area.<BR>Check out New Schwaunstein - the castle that Walt Disney patterned Cinderalla's castle after.<BR>Munich.....beer and brats - 'nuf said

Backpacking Europe last year within a similar timeframe, I found Busabout the best and most economical way to get around, www.busabout.com.<BR><BR>My must-see destinations would be Paris, Amsterdam, Prague, Munich, Venice & Rome, and Berlin (particularly if interested in history and great museums). Personally, I don't like Spain, but I know that view is not widely shared on this board, so I'm sure others will be able to provide recommendations there.
