3 weeks in Norway - need itinerary help

Jump to last reply

We will travel to Norway for the first time on July 19 and return home on August 8 in celebration of our 40th wedding anniversary. All we know for certain right now is that we will land in Oslo! We also want to see Bergen, Sognefjord, Stavenger and as much of the southern side of the country as we can without rushing around. 3 of my grandparents were born in Norway (Bergen and Oslo) and I have wanted to go there my whole life. I danced in folk festivals in the Junior Leikaring as a child and heard stories of the "old country". We cannot wait to see this beautiful land for ourselves. We plan to stay in Norway the entire time, so we would love to read any suggestions on planning an itinerary! We love the outdoors, mountains, the sea and trains!
Kindest regards,
Sandy & Dennis
