3 weeks in Germany Itinerary help.
 

I'm traveling with my 3 teenagers to Germany for 3 weeks. I have put together the following travel route but I have no idea how much time to spend in each of my destinations. Is 3 weeks enough time or should I pare back some of the cities?

Fly into Berlin
Dresden
Prague
visit with family (near Schweinfurt (4 days)
Munich
Veinna
Graz
Fly out of Munich

Also, any advice on places to see and things to do would be great!

I think if you have no really important reason to go to Vienna and especially Graz, I'd skip these two cities.

Better to do some day trips from Munich.

Or maybe a day in Nuremberg or Bamberg which I think is more on the way from Schweinfurt to Munich.

And a third post: I just realized the MamaGraz, so Graz might be important :-)

In that case I'd still think about skipping one or two other cities. At www.bahn.de you can find train schedules and with your current itinerary I think you just spend too much time travelling.

Hans, I think we'll skip Graz, (my name is italian LOL) but I had heard it's a nice little city. I forgot to mention that we all want to go to Salzburg. Can you recommend some good day trips from Munich that we could reach by cheap public transportation? Thanks for your help.
