3-week Spain Itinerary, Feedback Please!
 

My friend and I are going on a 3-week trip to Spain this May and need help setting up our itinerary. We're in our 20s and it's our first time in Spain so would like to make the best of the 3 weeks we have.
We're both girls, very active, and on top of the must-sees/dos, we really want to experience the culture.

We are flying into Barcelona and flying out of Madrid.
So far we have 7 cities on our itinerary and plan to use public transportation.

We would appreciate any feedback and suggestions including any additional cities that you recommend or those that don't need as many days or even those that you'd take out of our itinerary. Thanks!!

Day 1-6 Barcelona
Day 7-9 Valencia
Day 10-11 Granada
Day 12-14 Seville
Day 15-16 Cordoba
Day 17-18 Toledo
Day 19-22 Madrid

I might do Cordoba or Seville as day trips from the other rather than a move

Cordoba: Roman Cordoba around the heart of the city Plaza de las Tendillas and Plaza de la Corredera. Fabulous atmosphere in the terraces in Plaza de las Tendillas long into the night in the week-ends. If you mean THIS May I hope you have reservations for lodgings - or get them immediately. The best deals on hotels and decent hostels often fill up far in advance.

If you're looking for real culture you should look for places out of the cities... The Mediterranen is a perfect place to get immersed if you look for locals so you should think about the days you want to spend in Barcelona and Valencia (cities, I guess) and discover inland Catalonia and Valencia... there're hundreds of tiny villages, local food, wine producers and local culture... have you ever heard about the Valencian Tuscany? It's a wonderful area!
