3 nights in Ferrara, 2 night sin Bologna -- how to spend our time

Jump to last reply

We will be visiting Italy in 2 weeks, starting in Venice and ending in Rome. We are traveling by train and decided to spend 3 nights in Ferrara and 2 nights in Bologna. Does that seem like a good allocation of our time? Does Ferrara have enough of interest to keep us busy for 2 full days?

We happen to enjoy bicycling and thought Ferrara would be attractive because it sounds like a city for cyclists.
