3 extra days in italy
 

hello everyone,

we are travelling to italy in july,we have made bookings for sorrento - 3nights,rome - 4 nights,florence - 3 nights and venice - 3 nights.

we have 3 extra days between florence & venice.could everyone out here give suggestions on places to visit.

at the moment we are thinking - 3nights verona with a day trip to lake garda.

I would add a night to Sorrento, Florence and Venice.

I would add 3 nights in Naples, Capri or Ischia between Sorrento & Rome. If your other dates can't be changed, I'd add the 3 nights to Venice and spend 6 nights there.

You can stay in Bologna and visit Ravenna, Ferrara and San Marino.

Ira has a good suggestion for you. More time in those locations will make for a much better experience.

I agree - you could easily occupy an extra day in Florence and Venice. Not sure about Sorrento?

I just came back from Boario Terme and we had a great time, and I now know quite a bit about the area.
If you want to experience real italy, then this is the place...

we are thinking of visiting verona for those extra days.thinking of visiting a local winery,travelling around verona and the next day plan a trip to milan.
