3+ days ok for seeing Venice?
I have around 3 1/2 days to spend on Venice. Is this sufficient time to see Venice? Out of this 2 of the days are Dec 24 and 25. Are most sights and shops closed on these 2 days? Knowing this would help me plan.

Yes. That is plenty of time to see Venice, it is a small city and very walkable. What a beautiful place to be at Christmas! Have only been there in May, so can't advise about those dates. Be prepared for flooding with some high water boots. (See recent Smithsonian Magazine article.) Caio.

Walking around and getting lost is the thing to do in Venice. And with most busineses, restaurants, etc., probably closed on Christmas Day, walking around and getting lost will be just the thing to do all day on December 25!

Hi
You might want to check a website like
www.aguestinvenice.com

which publishes current info on openings
and closings for major sites.
I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of places are closed on Dec 26 as well.
