3 Days in Dubrovnik

Hello,

My husband and I will be staying in Dubrovnik, Croatia for 3 full days at the end of May this year. We were wondering if it will be too rushed to fit in wine tasting in the peljesac peninsula and exploring korcula? It you think that wouldn't be too rushed, would you recommend spending one night in korcula? What is the easiest way to get there? By bus with a tour or renting a car for the day and then taking the ferry from orebic?

Thanks!

It just depends on what you had planned--Dubrovnik is very small. I usually say Korcula is too far for a day trip (by bus, at 4 hours one-way), but if you are doing a wine trip you may be close enough to just go ahead and add it. Note the drinking and driving law is 0%, so you may want to do a private tour.
I really enjoy the scenery of the Peljesac and Korcula more than Dubrovnik, so I'd split the trip up accordingly, but I don't mind short stays as much as some do.

i agree with yorkshire -- it depends on your interests and preferences! I thought 1 full day (including a night) sufficient to visit Korčula Town, but I was not looking for a relaxing visit and did not include a wine tasting en route. If you can time your visit to Korčula to include a performance of the moreška, I'd say to give it serious consideration.

And if it helps, I though 1.5 days sufficient for Dubrovnik.

If a stop at a winery is a priority, then (like yorkshire), I think you'll need to find a tour. If stopping at a winery proves too difficult, I wonder if there's a place you can go for a wine tasting in either Dubrovnik or Korčula?

Good luck!

There are a few good places to sample wine and other drinks in Dubrovnik. I think Malvasija wine bar is the best, check https://www.malvasija.com/en/
