We just came back from France and stayed several nights in Normandy at a wonderful B&B called Ferme du Pressoir. It's just south of Bayeux, about 15 minutes from the beaches. It's a working farm but the B&B is something out of Martha Stewart, beautifully designed and decorated. The owner, Odile, speaks mostly French and is very accomodating and makes a fantastic breakfast. She has 5 rooms, each with a separate bathroom. We stayed in a separate guest house which has 3 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, plus there's a shared living space/kichen area downstairs. Fabulous place in a small village called Villiers Bocage. It's a huge farm where they grown grains, cherries, apples, rasperries, plus the usual assortment of animals, cows, horses, chickens (my son picked the eggs from the coop each morning and Odile made the omelettes). Great place. Feel free to contact me if you want more information.
