3/4 star hotel in florence with good location???
do you have any recommendations for a 3 or 4 star hotel in florence with an excellent location for march?
|
What do you mean by a good location? Do you want something along the Arno, in a quiet neighborhood, in Centro?? Give us a clue, please.

We stayed at the Hotel Regency. Its off of a beautiful square and only a short walk to the Accademia. We like to walk around, so being a little further from the noise wasn't a problem. Good restaurant.

Kim, I was just in Florence in November and stayed at the Sofitel. The accomodations and location were great.

Good evening,, Kim

Have used the HOTEL CONTINENTAL, Lungarno Acciaioli, 2 which is at the north end
of the Ponte Vecchio, it is a four star
with 61 rooms and a sister hotel to the
LUNGARNO, which is just opposite across
the river. We have used it about 8
times since the mid 70's and been very pleased with it, has a wonderful roof
garden, with a very good view. Rooms
facing the river do tend to be noisy
due to the scooters on the Lungarno Acciaioli and the stoplight at the
bridge. The HOTEL LUNGARNO with a
room facing the Arno will be much quieter and a muich better view in the upper rooms. Richard of LaGrange Park, Il...
