2nd try: cheap hotel near Da Vinci Airport??
 

Trying for the second time (no response from last night's message).....HELP!<BR><BR>I desperately need to find a hotel with a shuttle to Da Vinci airport, and which charges less than 100 euro's a night for a single occupancy room.<BR><BR>PLEASE advise!!!!<BR>tania

It could be, Tania, that few people know where Da Vinci airport is. Most people know it as Fiumicino.

Tania, <BR>Make sure to find out if the free shuttle is running at the time you need it.<BR><BR>I stayed at the Sheraton Roma Hotel<BR>because it was close to Fiumicino Airport and had a free shuttle. Unfortunately, to get to the airport for my 7AM departure flight I had to leave the hotel at 6AM and the shuttle did not start running until later so I still had to arrange for a taxi.

Thanks for the info about the airport's name! Both my travel agent and my plane ticket referred to it as Da Vinci, so I just assumed....<BR><BR>(needless to say, this will be my first visit to Italy!)<BR><BR>I followed the link that the anonymous poster linked, and the price is perfect, so I'll be contacting them today. <BR><BR>Thank you all for your help just the same!<BR><BR>tania
