26 yr old Single Female in Paris

Does anyone have recommendations on where to stay in Paris for the week of Dec 30th? I want to spend less than 200 euros a night and have narrowed by choices down to the 4th, 5th and 6th... Somewhere safe is preferred.

Thank you!!!!

Here are two threads with very recent recommendations for "Hotels Left Bank" and "Right Bank":

I've got a couple ideas for the 5th/6th border (right near bd St Michel): The Hotel Trianon and the Elysa Luxembourg.

However, as a warning, that is often the peak hotel rate time period (around New Years), even more than in the Fall, and a lot of hotels are probably totally booked up by now.

I stayed at this 3* hotel one night a couple months ago, and the room and hotel were really nice:

They do have prepaid internet rates in your budget, and seem to have availability. Notice the cancellation penalties are stiffer with that special rate.

Now this is the place I intended to stay at on that date as they have good reviews, great location, and looked nice enough online

They do have very good online booking rates, also, which is one reason I chose them. Their rates were a lot better than comparable hotels.

Both these hotels are right near bd St Michel and the Luxembourg RER stop (which I had planned, so I could easily walk to it and take it to the airport). But that location is pleasant and will be very convenient for other things, also.

In the 5th, there is Hotel du College on Rue Thenard. It is around the corner from the Sorbonne and right off of Blvd. St. Germaine.

A single should be about 90 euros a night.

The staff is very nice and the hotel is clean and safe. Wonderful neighborhood with lots of dining options.

Hi H,
We always stay at the Hotel Bonaparte, 61 Rue Bonaparte in the 6th. From about 120E for a single w/bkfst. It is just around the corner from Place St. Sulpice, near 3 metro stops and 4 bus routes. Has AC and an elevator.

The staff speaks English well, and is very helpful.
