24 hrs. in London

Three of us (16 yr. old son) will be in London for a 24 hr. time slot before catching our plan back to USA. Any suggestion for what fun activities we might fit in during say an 8-10 hour portion of this time-- esp. for a teenaged son?

Grab the Original London Tour or the Big Red Bus and get a whirlwind tour of historic London.

Thames Cruise included.

Or do-it-yourself with a bus pass and a map.

If you would post you and your son's interests, whether you have visited London before, perhaps it would help others make more informed suggestions.

Agree with Robespierre. Original London Tour Bus and Thames boat tour. London Eye.

Or a London Duck tour might be fun: www.londonducktours.co.uk

Not knowing more about your intests, I suggest a tour of the Tower of London, a cruise on the Thames to Westminster, walk past the Palace of Westminster which houses the Houses of Parliament, tour Westminster Abbey, tour Churchill's secret Cabinet War Rooms, and walk through St James Park to see the front of Buckingham Palace.
