Can't top it in central Europe - but we left Azerbaijan last week and there was fresh snow on the ground.....hit Dubai and the temps were close to 39 C!!!!

We're having a heat wave in France, too. And I'm getting tired of it. Damn it, it's February!

Every day has been a beautiful day in Switzerland. Today we went hiking (partly in the snow) and took off our jackets. Saw people in T-shirts.

Got real cool in the shade though.

It's happening everywhere. In the last week in NYC we had one day with a high of more than 60, another day with a high of 18 (farenheit) and another with 8" of snow.

I expect to see polar bears wandering through Central Park soon (and NOT from the zoo).

Well, we're more likely to see wild lions and giraffes here if global warming continues like that.

I saw 20 degrees today in Paris near Pompidou. Am going back to the States Friday--when I called my parents today it was 6 degrees---Fahrenheit. Ahh! But that is Wisconsin, so, you know, to be expected.

Only 19oC here in southern Australia, and it's supposed to be Summer: We might have global cooling!

I wish people would take the dramatic changes of climate that we are facing more seriously.

And here in sunny Spain...it has been raining all night (thanks god, we need it) and now there's a shy sun ..but it is menacing to rain again.
