2000 credit cards

We will be visiting Germany and Austria this fall. My present credit card will expire this summer and I assume that the new card
will have an expiration date 2000 +.
Has anyone having any trouble with credit cards with expiration dates after 12/31/99.

Hi Fred -

Agree with Doug. I used "00" card last Sept. and had no problem.

Here in the States, I accept cc from my customers with various exp. dates and have no problem. Months ago they updated the merchant systems to be able to accept these cards. I'm sure the European countries have taken similar measures to ensure a constant flow of money.

After all, they wouldn't want to miss out on those U.S. dollars because of computer problems.

Have a great time.
