20 day itinerary

After reading, evaluating and studying forums and travel guides, as well as the great help from contributors on this forum, I have settled on the following itinerary....and just wondered if there was any changes needed before starting the process of searching for hotels.
Any thoughts and suggestions would be really appreciated, for these two retired active Canadians!

Arrive in Barcelona on 9/21 - stay 7 nights
Train to Madrid - stay 5 nights
Train to Granada - stay 2 nights
Train to Sevilla - stay 6 nights
Fly out of Sevilla
Various day trips planned from each of the cities.

Cheers & Thanks

I've only been to Barcelona but I think 7 nights is an excellent idea, especially if you have day trips planned. We were in Barcelona for 5 days and didn't see everything. With 7 nights, you can also visit Montserrat & Girona. Girona is a lovely & interesting city. You could take the train for the day or stay overnight. While in Barcelona, be sure to make some time to wander through some interesting neighborhoods, such as Gracia & Sarria.

It sounds more than reasonable.

When in Madrid be sure to take a day trip at least to Toledo.

When in Sevilla you can visit Malaga. Six days maybe a little long in Sevilla.

The world's greatest and most prestigious flamenco festival - the Bienal de flamenco - goes on in Sevilla theaters until the 6th of October. A night at a performance might be a highlight of your trip. Predominantly a Spanish and knowledgable crowd.

Accoding to you plan, you might just get to Sevilla in time for the final concert which usually is a great event. Sells out in no time, and this years programme is displayed in the near future.
