Cinque Terre is beautiful but if you enjoy hiking but not the crowd another choice is the amalfi coast. The trails above Amalfi and neighboring villages all of the way to Sorrento and Capri are spectacular and much less traveled than CT and just as beautiful.The trails are not as well marked but getting lost is half the fun!
