2 weeks in Greece: Grade our itinerary!
My husband and I are planning a 2 week trip to Greece May 13th-May 27th. We are in our mid 20's/active and enjoy seeing the major sites, but also getting off the beaten path. We would love any input on if our plans so far are logical or if you have any better suggestions!
Day 1-3: arrive in athens and see the sights.
Day 4: Rental car to Corinth, Nafplio and stay the night.
Day 5: Drive to Olympia, visit, then head to Delphi to stay the night.
Day 6: See Delphi then head to Athens.
Day 7-9: Ferry to Santorini.
Day 10: Ferry to Crete/Chania.
Day 11: Hike Samarian Gorge/Chania
Day 12:Flight/Ferry to Athens.
Day 13: Athens/Temple of Sounion
14: Home.
Thanks for taking time to answer!

I suggest you pick up and drop off your rental car at the airport so you don't have to deal with the crazy traffic in unfamiliar Athens. You can then take the airport bus to the ferry port or into town to Syntagma Square.
You might also want to look into flying to Santorini from Athens on Aegean Airlines. If you can get them there are promotional fares offered right now that are about the same price as the ferry and won't take up so much of your precious time. 2 days for Santorini including a long ferry ride is not much time at all.

In case you didn't realize, the ferry from Santorini to Crete does not go to Chania, it goes to Heraklion. From Heraklion you'll need to take a bus or rental car to Chania.
