2 Weeks in France & Switzerland - suggestions please

My Wife & I are planning for a 15 days vacation in France & Switzerland starting last week of May. This is our first visit to Europe. We will fly in & out of Paris & would like to spend at least 6 days there. Rest is still open.
Probably Provence/ somwhere in Central France (3 to 4 days?) and the rest of the days (5 to 6 days) in Switzerland (Geneva & Interlaken?). We would be using public transport & prefer not to waste too much of time in transit. Are we targeting too much?
would very much appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

Two years ago our family toured Switzerland and LOVED it.If you are active and enjoy hiking and stunning scenery, I would highly recommend the Interlaken area, as it is a decent base for getting to the Berner Oberland. From Interlaken, you can head to Lauterbrunnen, Wengen and Murren for hiking in the Jungrau region.

From Interlaken, you can also cruise around the lakes to charming Swiss towns, and visit some impressive castles. The cities of Bern and Thun are also easily accessible as day trips from Interlaken.

We are currently planning a trip to France for this year, so can't provide any insights.

Have a wonderful trip!

We stayed in Interlaken the first time we were in that area, and as much as we liked it, we have always ventured farther into the mountains on all subsequent trip. Why don't you consider staying in Lauterbrunnen, Wengen or Grindelwald. It would still be easy to get back out to Interlaken to cruise the lakes if you so choose, but being up in the mountains is magical and you won't be at a loss for things to do.

For future reference, which B&B did you book?
