2 week Itinerary
My fiance and I are headed to Italy in early May for our honeymoon. We plan on flying into Rome, then flying home from Venice.
Being that Rome will be our first stop, are there any recomendations on an itinerary? We wanted to do Rome, Tuscany (huge wine lovers), day trip to Florence and Venice.
Where in Tuscany etc should we travel too? A little more atmosphere or night life is what we would like. We would also like to knwo where to take great wine tours.
Also, suggestions on hotels, apartments or villas in all three cities is appreciated. Also restuarants and bars recommendations would be excellent.
Thank You!

Hi H,
I suggest flying into Venice and out of Rome.
1. Better schedules out of Rome.
2. It gives you a chance to relax and get used to Italy before facing the hectic pace of Rome.
From where are you planning on a daytrip to Florence?
How long is this visit?

Acutally we already had our eye on a flight into Rome and back via Venice, much more expensive the other way.
We are not to worried about the hectic pace of Rome. We lived in a bustling city for 4 years, so we are used to a lot going on. We actually wouldn't mind winding down more towars the end of the trip.
We were going to do a day trip from Tuscany to Florence.
We will be in Italy for 2 weeks.
Thanks!
