2 Week Honeymoon in Europe?

Hello! My fiance and I are looking at places to travel to in Europe for our honeymoon. I've been to all the locations listed below before (I was in Italy 2 years ago, but it has been 14 years since London and Paris). My fiance, on the other hand, has never been outside the US, so I want to get a good taste of Europe in for him. I've outlined what I'm thinking about time schedule wise below, any input is greatly appreciated. We're interested in historical sites and museums (but not modern museums) mostly.

Day 1 - Travel (Fly from LAX to London)
Day 2 - London
Day 3 - London
Day 4 - London (Eurostar from London to Paris)
Day 5 - Paris
Day 6 - Paris
Day 7 - Paris (Flight from Paris to Venice)
Day 8 - Venice
Day 9 - Venice (Train from Venice to Florence)
Day 10 - Florence (Train from Florence to Rome)
Day 11 - Rome
Day 12 - Rome
Day 13 - Rome
Day 14 - Travel (Fly from Rome to LAX)

Personally I'd scrap London for more time in Paris and Italy, but that's just personal preference.

Train schedules here:

There is a overnight from Paris to Venice.

Florence stay at the Hotel Pendini and have dinner at Buca Mario.

Technically you have 12 days and 5 destinations (although it is hard to count Florence as one, you’ll only spend a night there, and maybe an afternoon and/or a morning).

Your first day in London will be a blur, as you will be jet-lagged. Every time you move from one city to another you lose about 1/2 day, more if you fly. And this is your honeymoon, when you might want to take it a little bit slower and enjoy some relaxed days...

Even if you don’t and you want to be on the go all the time, I think that you’re trying to do too much in too little time.
With 12 days, 2 or 3 of your destinations would be a more enjoyable trip.

Make a list of the things you want to see/do in each city, check opening hours, plan this carefully.

xyz stated the case better than I did. I felt London was the most expendable.

Only you know whether London is expendable or not. It all depends on your wish/dream list. However as it is, depending on what time you land, you have one useable day there. You arrive in London day 2 - say before noon. You will be jet lagged and it will take you between 2 and 3 hours from landing to checking in to your hotel. That day is basically shot except for fresh air/an early dinner/reasonable bed time. Then you have day 3 free free. And day 4 you leave for Paris.

So -- either add two days to London or drop it all together.

Same w/ Florence -- you basically have 1/2 to 3/4 a day free there.

Too many places and too little time - especially for a honeymoon. (1.5 days in London - with the first jet-lagged - makes no sense at all.)

You don;t say what time of year - which can make a significant difference. If it were me I would pick 2 cities and really have some time to explore them - and enjoy a relaxed trip - rathr than a very rushed one.

Don;t now which two cities - I think the two of you need to decide what y our must see/dos are.
