2 week christmas trip with teens-where to?
 

not a giant fan of europe in winter but since that is what we have with school schedules, i am thinking of next christmas. my concerns are flights home (munich and frankfurt are direct), activities on christmas eve and christmas day. all roads seems to lead me to munich, salzburg (on christmas eve and day), and a mix of vienna, budapest and prague. is this a doable itinerary? i am more of a slow traveler so 3 days in a place makes me a bit nervous. also if i don't depart from munich or frankfurt, my flight time doubles.

any other suggestions for christmas locations? this is about as cold as i will go. looked at portgual but weather seems rainy. appreciate all ideas and itineraries. thanks all.
