2 hours in Paris DeGaulle Airport

On our way home we will have a 2 hour stop over in Paris DeGaulle Airport. Anything particularly interesting to see or do there?

You are too far from Paris to go into town. So my suggestions are to find La Brioche Doree, assuming you are in T2, and enjoy some pastries.

If you are in T1, you can practice walking in circles and getting lost at the same time.

If in T2, you might also explore in preparation for a return visit.

unfortunately the previous poster is correct-relax in the most confusing and outdated major airport in Europe. if you have not bought liquor to the customs limit, splurge on some calvados or grand marnier.

Agree with Bob and Payant - just enjoy the food, wine and shopping.

BTW - does anyone know if there is a shuttle bus from T2 to TF? I will be spending three hours in CDG.

Thanks.

Consider yourself lucky - you might actually have time to make your connection.

Charlie,

Three hours should be enough time, but is there a shuttle from one T2 Hall A to T2 Hall F?

Thanks

Anitafla: You can walk from Terminal Hall A to Terminal Hall F in about 10 minutes, tops. It's a small airport.

If you have access to an airline lounge.....go there for some free drinks and / or free goodies. Maybe a very quick nap.

Actually 2 hours is a pretty short connection time. Hope your arriving flight is not late - even 15 minutes. The airport is not that large - but with increased security etc., you may be cutting it close.

I agree w/ the previous poster. 2 hours should give you enough time to comfortably make your connection. On our last trip, we only had an hour, and we had to literally run. They boarded within 10 minutes of us getting to the new gate. Too close for comfort for me.

Take your time and take a book...
