2 for 1 dining reservations open on the 25th
 

Reservations open at 10h00, Paris time, on the 25th September for Tous au Restaurant. From the 1st to the 14th of October, 2 people can dine at over 2000 restaurants in France and pay for only one person. It´s a great deal and you´ll want to reserve early as reservations go fast. Some of France´s top dining locations are participating.

At 10h00, I accessed la Fourchette on line. I made several reservations at Michelin starred restaurants, including les Ombres, but within 30 minutes, availability at most all of the top restaurants such as Frédéric Simonin, David Toutain and others was no more. Alain Ducasse au Plaza Athénée offered a menu at 395€, the second person free but most of the deals elsewhere were 2 for 1 at well under 100€ and many at under 50€. There are a few restaurants at under 35€ for 2 people and dinner, including entrée, plat, and dessert, would be difficult to prepare oneself much cheaper than that.

If anyone is in Paris during the first two weeks of October, he should really take a look at the deals and reserve. Even Hippopotamus is offering a 2 for 1 special.
